CFC50 & PDCC129

I was immediately drawn to the colors in the Play Date Cafe challenge of using Magenta, Dusk, & Seedling. Altho, I had real trouble finding a magenta in my stash of inks! I tried combining a couple inks, and that didn't work, so I went with PTI's Autumn Rose, and think it looked pretty close, everything else just looked too purple.
This is also for CAS-ual Fridays Spring Flowers challenge.
This stamp is Unity's Insightful Meadow, and I sponged Memento Pear Tart around the edges. The background polka dot is Bo Bunny, and the chicken wire paper is MME, Be Happy.

CFC49 & Chevron Color Challenge

This is for the CAS-ual Fridays CFC49 sketch challenge, and the Embellish Chevron Color challenge.
The little round berry stamp is from Unity's Where You Should Be stamp set.
The chevrons and sentiment are from PTI.
The pink and gray from the color challenge are in the bit of ribbon attached to the one square.

Organization

Here is a little peek into my newly organized craft room. I went through all of my designer papers and divided them up into colors. That took a while! I also put up the 3 floating shelves in the corner. I purchased those at Lowe's. I am still looking for some kind of cork or metal board for the center of the wall to put inspiration pictures.
Dave wanted to get rid of his dresser organizer, so I took the lid off, and turned it on it's side. After I got the latest PaperCrafts Practical Solutions magazine. I found a small dowel rod for the center section to keep my favorite ribbons in one place.  I always forget to use ribbon on my cards, so I thought if I kept it front and center, I would be more likely to use it.

PPA 133 & Unity's Monthly & Friends With Flair

I received new stamps in the mail today!! Woo hoo!! So I just HAD to play with them! ;)
This is for the April monthly challenge on Unity: using colors: Pink, Green & Cream. The sketch challenge PPA 133, and Unity's Friends with Flair.
I used Unity's A Moment in Time (ippity, I think). I used the flowers strip stamp to make my own background, Pear Tart ink on Spring Moss paper. The pink/cream grid paper was recycled from some wrapping paper a store used to wrap around a vase I recently bought. You will be seeing it some more, 'cause I really like it!

FWF: Chevron Meadow & CFC48

This is for this week's Friends with Flair on the Unity blog.
I love this color combo: PTI Enchanted Evening & Canyon Clay, and it also qualifies for the CAS-ual Friday's Opposite Color challenge.
But mostly, I just love Unity's Insightful Meadow stamp set. Are you sick of seeing it? I feel like that is all I want to use now.
I stamped it in clay ink on rustic cream paper, it is a little speckled.
I stamped polka dots in white on the navy paper, love how that turned out, too! And the background is PTI Chevrons in evening & clay inks.

Happy 19th Anniversary, Dave!

Since Dave has seen all of my "love" stamps, I thought I would do something different this year. Love Birds!
I sketched this on my new Paper app, and then printed it on photo paper. Notice the color difference, I love both versions!

Its Not Blurry!

funny story: I have been having contact trouble, but i know you are not too. I stamped this 3 times. Once in green, too light, another in white, still too light, but i could only see it at an angle, then again in aqua mist from PTI. So it looks a little blurry, but it's not! LOL, its just stamped multiple times.
other funny part: I had to stop wearing one of my most fav summer shirts(shrunk too much lengthwise, why does it do that?), that is/was a diagonal stripe. I thought to cut it in strips and make flowers, so this one is the little scallop trim from the neckline. I love it! I asked Dave what he thought of it, and he said it looks like i wanted to keep a shirt i should've thrown out. LOL! He's not big on the dimensional flowers. But that is my fav part of the card!

Stamps: Unity Insightful Meadow, A Muse Thanks
Paper: PTI Aqua Mist, MME

Pain & Pride Winner

Hey! I won a stamp last week from Lisa Arana & Unity. I won it on Monday, and received it in the mail on Friday! Can you believe it? That is fast! Thank you both!
So even tho it is a winter stamp, I just had to get ink on it. I colored it with Koh-i-nor pencils and blending medium. And I used a sparkle pen on the edges of the snow.
I love his orange feet!
(and yes, that is a fingerprint on the right, but the penguin is just too cute not to post. LOL)
AND this is for Unity's Friends with Flair too.
